I have a dream!!!

Now it’s a reality!!! The Black Box is open. We had 2 athletes show up for the 7 am and 10 for the 12:30 class. I taught two privates there today and evening classes just ended and I’m sure they were awesome. Waiting for Josh’s report.
Remember we are still on ON-RAMP mode so we kept the WOD very simple today.

    well all of you seem to have fared far better than I . My first crossfit ever-a private no less, and today it seems that the “crossfit fairy” came in the middle of the night and attached 50 lb weights to each of my legs. Next time I hope the fairy also leaves some aleve. No seriously it was awesome! Hooked onthe pain already! Thanks Keith! And I thought warrior three was hard on the quads! Well i can say one thing-you wont hear me complain ever again at yoga!

    Michelle I told you it was addictive. See you in a class someday. I am doing more CF these days than yoga it seems. I am sure our paths will cross again soon! One day those 50lb weights will feel even greater and another day you will imagine you ever dreamed them! That’s the wisdom and beauty of crossfit.

    im so friggin broken from monday night. (thanks court)
    any tips on what to eat to speed up the recovery process?? (quads n shoulders are killing me.)

    Yes, same WOD tonight, unless I get vetoed by Court, Josh or Mike.
    I recommend a cocktail of advil, fish oil and glucosamine…vodka to taste.
    Seriously, eat lean meat and fish, fruits and vegetables, nuts, seeds, little starch, no sugar.
    Get lots of sleep.

    Joe,
    Think of this gym as a dojo rather than the typical commercial gym. It’s all classes. M-F 7am & 12:30, 7, 8pm, S&Su 10:30(I think) Check out the front page (crossfitnyc.org) in case my memory is off.
