    Was just @CFSD observing classes and decided to mess abt and got unassisted 10ft rope climb and then said what the hell–tried my nemesis. I actually ran aroung the block 430m. Never ever ran before but realize I must start. Time can only improve–2:13.
    Now @Mission Beach soaking in the rays. Gonna go back to workout later!

    man this hurt my wrists on those OHSs. i need to start practicing those with weight on a regular basis. it hurt my wrists way more than i expected it would–otherwise, they felt pretty damn good, actually.

    anyway, i’m off to turkey on thursday for an indeterminate amount of time and have a question…
    a post on the main board failed to turn up anyone in istanbul (although there must be someone… i might just have to proselytize among the marines guarding the consulate.) so i need to figure out how to keep this up on my own and with limited equipment…
    my concern/question is how to create a well-rounded series of equipment-less WODs when need be. i’m figuring i can find stuff here and there – a pull up bar in a park, a friend’s weights, etc – and can check the WODs i come up with against, for instance, seattle’s skill level checklist, but if anyone has any other ideas, i’d appreciate it..
    all told, been fuckin awesome. i’m out on thursday so will be around a couple more times. and more than likely i’ll find myself back in nyc before i know it…
    thanks to everyone, seriously everyone, and especially court and keith, from whom i’ve learned a hell of a lot. really appreciate it…
