    notes: The 160# were tough. Got under them but didn’t drive the hips up. Front Squats need some work.

    Great 1st day at the cert… Before lunch, it was full set of BTB Tabata squats, and last part of the day was a full FGB, so yeah, Im toast. And it looks like tomorrow is Fran and something else. Cant wait since Im pretty exhausted already. At least they had a shit load of beer for us afterwards to kill the pain.
    Anyways, everyone says hi and loves the fact that the Blackbox pretty much is taking over the certs with all the people attending.

    Brett, if you want to thank me, stop beating me on every workout. :)
    I wanted to hit 225 today, but those Fs slowed me down. I was getting closer with each attempt and knew that I had it in me. Lots of visualization and concentration is what makes those big lifts go up. I think my lifting will improve when I’m not as self conscious about dropping the weights. Hesitation doesn’t work when oly lifting.

    Definitely Keith. When you know in the back of your head you can just drop the weight if you miss it, you will more aggressive.

    Well lets just say fuck it from here on out and go lift outside… That way if we drop it, it will just hurt people on the sidewalk, and really, don’t we have too many of them anyways?

    I’m all for going outside and dropping weight. Lord knows I am very self conscious lifting heavy at the box. Always worried about dropping the weight or even getting aggressive and stomping my feet before a big lift.
