    Is it possible to have a 11a-12p class or open gym during the weekdays? This would work well for my work schedule. I realize that there has to be a demand for it, but I hope this post is taken into consideration. Thank you.

    We are in the process of shifting the weeknight Beginners and Elements classes to start at or after 7:00 PM. This will enable us to create a full one-hour WOD at 6:00 PM. Our sense is that this will reduce crowding during the 5:30 PM and 6:30 PM WOD’s. If we do implement a 6:00 PM WOD Mon-Thurs, the start of Open Gym hours will be 7:00 PM.
    Your thoughts?

    Any chance we could do this WOD as a group on the Westside highway running track or one of the east side parks? I’d rather not run over any people on 26th Street.

    Been doing a lot of running down at LBI. Mostly long, sweaty runs.
    Did this by the ocean using recently calibrated NikePlus technology. 1.34 miles never felt so tough!

    I would rather do this on a track or bikepath after work this evening (overslept this morning or would have done this on the track near my house). West Side Highway works better for me but if we get a group together then that would be fun wherever we meet.
    I can meet from 18:30 onwards.

    I’ll be doing this over the weekend, either Saturday or Sunday, in Riverside Park. Two a day! Enjoying a little rest, looking at my log, I’ve worked out just about every day for the last couple weeks.

    I have to admit I really like the 6:00 PM express wod. I like the flexibility and convenience of being able to get in, get the wod done, and get out. It’s not that I don’t enjoy all of you and the copious amounts of chalk powder I get to inhale, because I do. I really do. I just want to get in and get out and the 6 PM spot works perfectly.

    Running on the south side of 26th street is not bad, heading towards Broadway then south seems to be less crowded. How about Madison Square Park? The north and east sidewalks are usually clear.

    I predict this year’s Games will be much more technical, stuff like ring HSPU’s, snatch complex, double-unders, etc. I think there will be less focus on strength; we saw a lot of that at sectionals and regionals, but I think this weekend will break that trend.

    For me 6pm 1 hour WOD is a good idea to ease early evening rush
    Wasn’t that also the idea of the 6.40pm express WOD? That seemed to work as well.
