U.S. Army First Sergeant Michael “Hammer” Bordelon, 37, of Morgan City, Louisiana, assigned to the 1st Battalion, 24th Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade, 25th Infantry Division (Stryker Brigade Combat Team), based out of Fort Lewis, Washington, died on May 10, 2005, from injuries sustained when a car bomb exploded near him in Mosul, Iraq on April 23, 2005.

He is survived by his wife Mila; children Mike Jr., Jacob, and Johanna; mother Dolores; and sister Doreen Scioneaux.

        Thanks Cassie — I scaled the pull-ups on the last rounds too much; couldn’t find another medium band to use!

    Snuck in during my lunch break, so I decided to do just three rounds at the perscribed weight, which seemed ok.

    I want to apoglize to Kevin, because i went up for a jerk, and my deltoid, and or shoulder poped, and I dropped the weight luckly no one was around, its a weird problem anyways.

    first round 2:21 with only 10 pull ups
    second round 3.02 with 15 pull ups
    third round 8:41 since I took a break but did 20 pull ups, and ripped my hand, dam. I was having fun kipping because i think i finally got it, after all this time, my push away has finally come.
