Dive right in

This Wednesday, May 25th, at 8pm, we’re proud to be hosting Mark Sisson of the awesome paleo/primal blog, Mark’s Daily Apple; he’ll be discussing “The Metabolic Paradigm Shift” and there will be cocktails to follow. John Durant of the Paleo in NYC Meetup Group organized it and has charged Meetup group members $5 to attend. But if you’re a current member of CFNYC, you’re invited to join in the talk and cocktails for FREE. No need to RSVP, just show up.

The 8:30pm WOD class is definitely cancelled and the 5:30 and 6:30pm WODs are definitely ON. We’re reviewing whether we will need to cancel the Regular and Post-Elements WOD classes at 7:30pm. We are trying to see whether we can juggle a bit.

So stay tuned and thanks for your understanding!

Please note that official sub for swimming, as per our head trainer Court, is to do 25 body rows in place of the swimming.

If anyone gets to do this WOD at a pool, do let us know how it goes when people look at you like you’re crazy when you do the push-ups. : )

And if you use a pool, do note that 50 meters equals164 feet or 55 yards. Many U.S. pools are 25 yards long, whereas Olympic-sized pools (less commonly found in the US) are 50 meters.

That should have said we are determining whether we need to cancel the 7:30 PM Regular WOD and 7:30 Post-Elements WOD.

We will certainly have the 5:30 PM and 6:30 PM WOD’s.
