20 Minute Time Cap: Got through the round of 21 as RX’d.  Spent the next 7 minutes or so trying to do an HSPU to no avail.

    • Dickie

Happened to me last time, so I threw a lot of sand under my head this time.

      • Anonymous

Better under your head than between your legs…

      That’s still a helluva job getting 21 reps Rx’d

I just wanted to say Saturday morning was a fierce performance by Avery.
I am sure she will be modest in her newsletter wrapup… but the truth is she was pretty damn sick for this competition. you could actually hear her (congested) breathing over the bad russian techno! lol.
regardless, she toughed it out and still achieved a #1 rank.
    MONEY

    • Kevin

russian techno works every time. KLOKOV!!

      • Sam G

Avery that is an amazing accomplishment…very nice work!

No JT for me.  Train took almost 3 hours to get into NYC.  Maybe next time…

    • Anonymous

it was a body weight work out, I would have thought you’d grab some old guys walker for dips and have it on the train. Bad Reis, bad Reis.

      • Anonymous

I wasn’t gonna say anything, but now that you mention it I did exactly that and broke the guy’s walker.  But he looked like he weighed around 95# so I busted out a quick luggage rack Fran using the guy for thrusters…rest day Monday!

    9:36 RX’d (PR)

  • Steve Slo

*I don’t recall my time on this, but for some reason 15:34 is jumping out at me.

    Heavily Scaled:
    15 – 12 – 9
HSPU with a 45#, 25# and abmat (should have switched 25# out for a 10#)
Bar Dips (except round #1 = box dips… the GHDs were crowded)
    Pushups

This is the first time doing JT without hitting total muscle failure.

  • Zoe

12:21, 45# & 10# for first 21 HSPU, but had to switch out the 10# for an abmat on the rest, and paralette dips.

  • Michael C

18:09 with 2abmats.  HPSU are still my kryptonite.
