It’s 5K day at the Box. This years Games athletes had to run an 11K so let’s slowly work our way up! Coach Heidi has a ‘find your 5K time’ day planned! Don’t be late–this is a ‘be on time’ type of CFE day! She will leave at the top of each hour to get you started!
****For those who meet Coach Heidi at the track for the 7am or 8am hours…NOTE you are NOT RUNNING AROUND THE TRACK on Thursday! Meet at the 28th at box each hour instead. Also, she asks that you bring a running watch if you have one.

    When are the websites schedule issues going to be worked out? The Zen Planner App has also become difficult to schedule through. I’m in front of both the websites schedule and the Zen Planner app on my phone right now and I can not schedule myself through either resource for a WOD tonight?? WTF??

    7:15am Beginner WOD
    A: Deadlift “Today’s” 1RM – Actually PR’d this one: 193# (to my previous 173#)… I owe this solely to strategically setting my rest day to coincide with yesterday’s Elizabeth…

    B: 10:30ish – knee-raises & 25# overhead plate lunges. Still trying to determine if I’m genetically incapable of performing a knee-to-elbow. Will keep trying. o__O

      I couldn’t come remotely close to knee-to-elbow or toe-to-bar when I started six months ago. It will happen.

    B: 12 kg (supporting shoulder feeling way too crunchy on the way down – which should be the easy part)
    C: This was so ridiculous I didn’t even try (10 seconds on r arm; 1 second on l)
    D: Cash out (5 min AMRAP: 5 hang pwr cleans 95/65, 5 burpees: 6 rounds +1 power clean rx’d. Phew!
    E: Row 30:00 (5890m, damper on 8)
