Thank you (not) to Coach WIll for the suggested partner-carry substitute for my solo-CFE with Heidi this morning: 6 Rounds: 25M lateral KB swings @16kg, 25M broad jumps, 100M sprint. 15min (disclaimer: all times and distances are -ish at 6AM)

A fancy gentleman left his fancy watch at 28th street this AM. Will took it to 26th street. If he left it as a gift for me, just let me know, and thank you.

  • Coach Will

hey y’all – found a watch at 28th street. i put it at the front desk at 26th street, so if you lost it…its been found.

  • reisbaron

Snatch practice @ 75 & 95. My cleans are shit lately and my snatches are looking pretty good. Sara & I are equally baffled.

    WOD: 10:01 RX’d

This is a main site WOD from September. Shockingly I don’t recall it going by the same name, (or any name for that matter). But this one showed up right on time, as it’s been a humbling post-CMC transition and I needed a little confidence boost.

    • Albert Insogna

      Crazy strong.

    • Jana B.

      Freakin’ awesome Reis!!
I’m waiting for “Jana’s Jam” where we stretch for half an hour then do shavansan….then I would kick ass like you did today.

      • Albert Insogna

        Don’t forget the 30min row cashout…

      • reisbaron

You are too funny…I can assure you if I want to move tomorrow I’m putting Jana’s Jam on the evening schedule that’s for sure…

    • http://www.joshuanewman.com Joshua Newman

Reis neglects to mention that he requested we program this WOD when it came up on the Main Site. I named it after him, so you guys would know who to blame. ;)

      • reisbaron

        (gasping) bus…too…heavy…can’t…get…out…from…under…

      • http://twitter.com/msater michael saterman

Blame? Try THANK! And I had the pleasure of having THE Reis (famous for “Reis’s Pieces” ) as my coach, er, workout partner. Since I foolishly did the deadlift/ringrow practice Tuesday night, Coach Sara and Mr. Pieces were kind enough to yell, er, encourage me to punch out WOD in 7:39 at 205 lb / 65lb

        • reisbaron

You owned it Michael. Nicely done!

        • BenS

Both of you guys crushed this today.

  • Jana B.

A: Snatches: According to my partner (JMo), they were better at #73 than #63. Go figure.
B: Reis’ Pieces: I still like Reis. Not sure about his pieces tho. This should have been agreat WOD for me but after yesterday’s DL’s they were almost impossible today (yesterday 173# felt good today I thought 133# was going to kill me). I think I spent most of my time changing the plates on my bar. Ugh. Anyway. Whaa whaa. 16:40 133#/63#. I think I need a day off.
C: Row 30 Min (split 30 seconds slower than usual)

    • http://twitter.com/williamlanier Will Lanier

just come drink at the halloween party tomorrow…for time.

      • Jana B.

Oh, if we are drinking for time I will CRUSH that wod!!!

  • Jana B.

I lieft a pair of the worlds ugliest boots at 26th last night (black – look like they should be work by Santa’s elves). WIll pick them up tomorrow.

    • http://twitter.com/williamlanier Will Lanier

you own nothing “ugly” just fyi.

  • Albert Insogna

    Badass pic.

A: Hit 115# for a single, which is a PR by a country mile.
B: 165 deadlift, 75 on the OHS, which became 65 for the final set. Time: DFL.

    • Jana B.

I finished while the next class was warming up so I was either DFL for 6:45 or first for 7:45. All about perspective…

      • Albert Insogna

I should clarify- I am not at all ashamed of finishing DFL, with the awesome athletes in 7:45am.

  • Justin Katz

    B: 225# Deadlift
    45# OHS
    7:40

  • BenS

Reis’ Pieces: 10:39 with 225# deadlifts and 65# OHS. Must have spent at least 9 minutes on the OHS.

  • David Stogsdill

    3:00 BB WOD
    A. Working technique @ #65, starting to feel a bit more competent at this lift.
    B. 7:05 w/ DL @ #155, OHS @ #65

  • Aaron Segal

    A. Snatches from high hang at, worked up to 135
    B. shitshow: 225 and 95, was going to try 115, did not happen 11: 23. Adding overhead to list of things to work on…

  • KevinBoul

    6:41 155# and 65# felt good
