REMINDER: This weekend and every weekend, all classes occur at our 28th St. location ONLY. In addition, if you haven’t done so already, please peruse the January 2012 SCHEDULE CHANGES (all reflected in our Zen Planner calendar).

Black Box WOD/Beginner WOD:
A1: Push jerk 4×2 [Beginners instead perform: Push press 4x4]
A2: Lateral lunge with overhead reach 4×8 (alternating)

B: For 12 minutes: On the odd minutes perform 3 push presses, on the even minutes perform 10 heavy kettlebell swings–the goal is use the heaviest weight possible without having failed reps.

Here’s what’s on tap for Sunday’s classes, all at 28th St. location only:

Black Box WOD/Beginner WOD:
A1: Front squat 3×4-6
A2: Pullup 3×5 (add weight if needed)

B: 10-8-6-4-2 reps for time: front squat at 60-70% of today’s sets, burpee pullups.

    I doesn’t say in the instructions, but can/should the “lateral lunge with overhead reach” be done on top of a stability ball to really hit the core?

        Actually, no. The 26 Street showers not open on the weekends. We are beyond livid with our contractors. The Women’s showers work at 28 Street. The Men’s shower’s will be operational by January 31, no matter what!

      Just show up. You will not be turned away. The problem that we simply cannot figure out how to solve is that people book slots and then cancel at the last minute. Until we get this under control, just show up on the weekends, and you will get in.
