  • Question

Wait, Kyle has the :15 classes on zen planner. Will is the :45.
Is Kyle taking over for Will?

    • Hari Singh

Yes, on March 8. The above schedule is only for the first Thursday and Friday of the Open.

If we are participating in the Open do we need to be at both Thursday and Friday WODs or are they the same WOD just offered on both days?

    • Hari Singh

They are the same WOD on different days. Do it once, and then go back to your normal routine.

  • AndyK

Are there going to be Open workouts on Saturdays/Sundays?

    • Hari Singh

We’re waiting to see what the response is for Thursday and Friday. We will probably have Open WOD’s on Saturday, but not Sunday.

    • Hari Singh

We are about to add eight Open WOD’s on Saturday, March 9, every hour on the hour from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM (ending 4:00 PM). These should be up on Monday. We will probably not be running Open WOD’s on Sunday.

This is nuts. The website just told me I had to change my password for security purposes… and the new password had to be 12 characters long. That’s nuts! Please get that fixed. Never thought I’d have to have that long of a password – not even something a bank requires – to schedule a crossfit class.

    • Wayne

I saw this too – and then just successfully ignored it. Looks like some kind of a bug to me.

    • Hari Singh

It’s a new algorithm that makes password length proportional to how much of a pain you are.

We emailed ZP, as it seems excessive to us, too, but isn’t something we can directly control.

      • http://www.ryanshell.com/blog Ryan Shell

Thanks Josh. And my bad for not posing that as a question.

On another note, it’s clear that you are the owner that knows how to address paying customers. You might tell your friend Hari, one comment below, that comments like that (even if they are a joke) could easily be quoted in a Yelp review. And my guess is that you wouldn’t want potential new customers seeing one of the owners being so rude to existing customers. Just a thought.

        • Hari Singh

I stand by my comment. You go out of your way to phrase your comments in as obnoxious a manner as possible.

          • http://www.ryanshell.com/blog Ryan Shell

            Clearly you are a child.

      • Aaron Segal

Josh, I think it is important to know the strengths of your management team. Some are great and thoughtful in their responses to members and others should not be addressing members at all. Some of us are more apt at dealing with clients while some are better at streamlining operations. That is as nice as I can put this

        • Mike Castaldy

As well said as possible Aaron. I hope this piece of advice gets heeded…

  • Zen Planner Issues?

The Zen Planner now shows that there are Open WOD’s, but all of the :45PM classes for Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday are nowhere to be found. My reservations were canceled, too. Is this some kind of glitch?

    • Hari Singh

We’re working on it, and it may take a while. Those classes are not canceled, and given that the Open is running, they will almost certainly not fill. Just show up.

    • http://www.joshuanewman.com Joshua Newman

      Fixed.

  • Sara

Is Sara’s 6am class cancelled all week? I don’t see it in zen planner

    • Hari Singh

No, we’re working on putting back Sara’s Mon, Tues, and Wed classes. Should be fixed soon.

      • Sara

        Great! Thanks so much

  • Hari Singh

All members who hold a Level 1 certification and/or have passed the on-line judging course (see the Games site) are invited to help with the judging during whatever hours work for them. Just show up and check in with the chief judge. We may create a separate post where you can put your available hours in the comments.

Is the 6PM Beginner Class tomorrow (Thursday) still on? It’s open for registration on Zen planner.

    • Hari Singh

Yes, but the location may be moved to 26 Street. If so, you will get an email.
