Part B. Bench Press 4-3-2-1-1 reps, rest 2-3 minutes
Part C. Row 1 K (x2), max effort, rest 5 minutes

Here’s what’s on tap for Tuesday’s classes:

All-levels WOD/Beginner WOD:
Death by unbroken shoulder to overhead 115/83# (1 unbroken in the first minute, 2 unbroken in the second…so on and so forth until you cannot complete the designated number of reps unbroken in the given minute.

Competition Team WOD:
Part A. 3 sets: 1 minute max reps HSPU, 1 minute max reps chest to bar pull ups, rest 3 minutes
Part B. 4×20 reps unbroken wall balls, rest 60 seconds
Part C. 7×1 Snatch Pull, Pause at 3 Positions (1 inch off floor, below the knee, high hang – 2 counts each position)

    Just did the WOD at CrossFit Tuluka in Buenos Aires. I’ve been here about a dozen times now. Nice place. Nice people. Interesting thing – they are sort of Kettlebell obsessed. They use them a lot. They don’t do a lot of swings, like we do. More single arm movements – cleans and presses. Often with two bells at once. I find it taxing. In a good way. ;-)

    17:55- legs are still sore from Karen, so air squats were painful. Also, burpees suck.

    14:20 (16kg kb). Broke up the swings 30-25-15-17-13 (took 5min), squats unbroken, burpees unbroken, K2E 12-10-6-5-4-2-1.

    Wrt top 12 reasons… Number 4 for sure. I still have the competitiveness of 20 year old me but in a Vo2-challenged 48 year old body. So, with that in mind, today’s chipper was particularly awful. I completely bonked after about 40 burpees. By the k2e I was dizzy and burping in that way that says something worse might be in store. Argh.

    17:33, subbed V-Ups. Wanted to avoid any hand-tearing… Lo & behold, v-ups are their own brand of excruciating.

    Happy to report my endurance is headed in the direction I want it to be going (not getting winded as quickly), and finished the KB swings @ 16kg in 3 rounds.
