We know that many of you have questions about how we will handle the specific details of Open. We will need to make decisions that are unique to each of the WOD's. We will be doing the Open WOD at 8:30 PM tonight for the first time. It is likely that we will need people to register on Saturday. At this point, we simply cannot predict the logistics.

Do not assume that you can do the Open WOD any time you like. We will do our best to accommodate everyone, but we will need to have some (as of yet undefined) rules. For example, if the first WOD is 165-lb C&J's, we will have a completely different situation than if the WOD is 50 burpees for time. We have enough equipment, space, coaches, mentors, and members to solve whatever gets thrown our way.

I will post additional comments later this evening. You belong to the affiliate that will do the most Open WOD's in the world. We'll take care of you (and of CrossFitters from all over the world who may need our resources during the Open).

We are a resource for our members and for the CrossFit community at large.

good call on the static hold. I would love it if they didn't include double unders.

Too bad they won't have a row or run during the open.

Three predictions:

HSPU's will appear in one of the WOD's.
DU's will not appear in any of the WOD's.
A static hold will appear in one of the WOD's.

I think first wod will be less likely to require scaling for most people than subsequent wods. Maybe box jumps, wall balls, push ups

A. 145, 155x6, 145, 145

B. 4:05 RX
PU: (21), (6,4,3,2) (3,3,3)

My pullups really suck, not to make excuses but I wasted 30 seconds struggling through them. Should have been a sub 4 workout, I will be adding pullups to the list of items to work on....

Props to the others in the 12: quite a few people crushed this WOD
