Programs & Rates
As the oldest and largest CrossFit gym in New York City, we’re able to provide an unmatched depth and breadth of programming. After completing our Elements Workshop, members have access to programs that include:
WOD Classes: At the core of CrossFit NYC’s training are our Workout of the Day (“WOD”) classes. We offer over 100 WOD classes per week, all led by our top coaches in a small-group setting. WOD classes consist of a warm-up, some skill work, a workout, and a cool down; coming to three to five WOD classes a week will get you in the best shape of your life, across all aspects of fitness, from strength, power, and endurance, to flexibility, agility, balance, and coordination. WOD classes are open to all members who have successfully completed Elements.
Post-Elements WOD Classes: Throughout the week, we also offer WOD classes tailored specifically towards members who have recently graduated from Elements. These classes use lighter weights, scaled versions of some of the more difficult movements, and include more time reviewing the basics of safe and efficient technique. More broadly, these classes serve as a friendly transition from Elements to the general WOD.
Advanced WODs: Similarly, CFNYC runs classes catering to the needs of our longer-standing competitive athletes. Focused on the finer points of Olympic weightlifting, power lifting, and gymnastics, and built around heavier weights and higher intensities, our Advanced WODs keep members from plateauing as they pursue competitive goals in and outside of the CrossFit world.
CrossFit Endurance: CrossFit WODs alone are sufficient to bring athletes to such a high level of fitness that a slew of CrossFit athletes have run marathons with no additional running training. For serious endurance athletes (in sports like running, cycling, swimming and rowing), however, supplementing WODs with specific training helps our members go faster, further, with less work, and with less working out. Our CrossFit Endurance program is designed to improve your technique and help you become a more biomechanically efficient athlete. For additional information, please visit NYCEndurance.com.
Competitions: Finally, because we believe that fitness becomes more fun and effective with a dose of friendly competition, we organize regular competitions and events for members of all experience and ability levels. We may not all be headed to the Olympics or the CrossFit Games, but we’ve found nearly all of us have a great time when competing in a friendly way.
Rest-Day Dinners: Because CrossFit tends to build new friendships fast, and because New Yorkers love to eat and drink heavily, we also organize regular social events outside the gym, most frequently as informal dinners (often followed by karaokeing, or similarly ill-advised misadventures) throughout the city. Rest and recovery, after all, is a key aspect of fitness!

Personal Training
We’re proud to have some of the best coaches in New York City right here at the Black Box. And while our members get the benefit of their expertise in our group programming, many of our coaches are also available for one-on-one Elements Workshops, one-on-one CrossFit WODs, and specialized weightlifting, kettlebell training, endurance, and mobility training. You can schedule personal training sessions online. [Note: You do not need to be a member of CrossFit NYC to use our Personal Training Program.]
